All My Children's Debbi Morgan wowed daytime audiences for years with her portrayal of Pine Valley's Angie Hubbard, and now the actress is set to wow primetime audiences in her latest role: Singer Toni Braxton's mom.
Variety reports that Morgan has been cast in Un-Break My Heart, an upcoming Lifetime movie based on the singer's memoir about her struggles with financial trouble, illness, and divorce while also dealing with her son's autism.
Morgan will play Braxton's mom, Evelyn, while Gavin Houston (ex-Remy Boudreau, Guiding Light; ex-Sly Thomas, General Hospital) will play the singer's collaborator, producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds.
The film also stars Lex Scott Davis as Braxton and Tiffany Hines (Devious Maids) as one of Braxton's sister, Tamar. Braxton herself is also set to appear in the film.
