Congratulations are in order for All My Children alum Denise Vasi (ex-Randi Hubbard) and her husband, Anthony Mandler: the pair welcomed a baby boy in June.
The actress took to Instagram this week to announce the exciting news, sharing that they've named the healthy, 8 lb., 8oz. baby boy Dries Layne Mandler.
"I labored for one incredibly intense hour, [our daughter] Lennox Mae was front and center, and hubby caught his son fully supported by our loving birth team," Vasi wrote along with a photo of her newborn son. "Our home birth was fast and furious but absolutely magical. We've spent the last two weeks (mostly in bed) falling in love with baby. He's beyond perfect!!"
Shortly after Vasi posted the photo of baby Dries, Mandler gave his wife praise for courageously bringing another human into the world.
"You truly are a force of nature and carry a spirit that I've never seen matched especially in THE moment. In both of our children that flame burns bright," he wrote. "I am in awe @denisevasi because every bit of doubt or fear is always followed by an act of love, kindness, and heart."
