All My Children fans will be able to catch Josh Duhamel (ex-Leo du Pres) in the romantic comedy The Lost Husband later this spring, as the film has been co-acquired by Quiver Distribution and Redbox Entertainment and is set for a theatrical rollout in April.
Written and directed by Vicky Wight and based on a novel by Katherine Center, The Lost Husband follows actress Leslie Bibb in the role of Libby Moran, a woman attempting to put her life back together after the death of her husband. She moves with her children to her estranged aunt's goat farm in central Texas, meeting and matching wills with the ranch's cowboy (Duhamel).
Additional stars of the heartwarming film include Nora Dunn, Isiah Whitlock Jr, Georgia King, Sharon Lawrence, and Carly Pope.
This isn't the first time that Duhamel and Leslie Bibb have shared the screen. As Soap Central previously reported, they star opposite each other in the Netflix series Jupiter's Legacy.
Duhamel won the hearts of daytime fans as AMC's Leo, a role he played from 1999 to 2002. He went on to find mainstream success in television shows like Las Vegas, Battle Creek, and Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. as well as in films like Safe Haven, New Year's Eve, and the Transformers franchise.
