Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe) and his wife, Michele, are adding another member to their family. The pair has announced that they are expecting a baby next spring.
The new bundle of joy will be the couple's sixth child, but their first together. Kanan has a 10-year-old daughter, Simone, from a previous relationship. Michele has one son, 19-year-old Peter, and three daughters, 16-year-old Gigi and 12-year-old twins Annie and Juliet.
Sean Kanan and Michele Vega were married in July during a trip to Italy.
Kanan started his daytime career as A.J. Quartermaine on ABC's General Hospital. He made his debut on The Bold and the Beautiful in November 2000. He remained with the CBS soap through February 2005. Kanan took his B&B role to the show's sister soap, The Young and the Restless, in July 2009. Kanan remained with Y&R off-and-on through early 2012. Kanan made a short-term return to B&B earlier this year, and the actor is expected back on-screen this fall.
In addition to his daytime work, Kanan is also participating in the first-ever improvisational soap opera, Scandal Crest. Kanan will be a guest on Soap Central Live on September 14 to discuss soaps, children, and more.
