Romance and Twitter posts filled the cyber air on October 20, 2012 as family and friends were a-twitter about the nuptials of lovebirds Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) and Nicole Lampson. According to Soaps In Depth, friends and co-workers gathered to celebrate with the couple at what Ronn Moss called a "beautiful, romantic setting in the woods of Malibu hills."
Clifton began his wedding day Saturday with a tweet to his bride-to-be: "Hey @NicoleLampson, I'm feeling spontaneous... Want to get married today?"
Joined by family and friends like Kristolyn Lloyd (Dayzee), Kim Matula (Hope), Adam Gregory (Thomas), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), and many more, Clifton married his longtime fiancée at twilight beneath sparking and whimsical fabric-draped trees in the woods. The guests tweeted well wishes and Instragram photos of the event, and Lloyd tweeted out a photo collage.
The next day, Clifton tweeted as if he were on a mission: "Marry Girl-of-My-Dreams: CHECK. Eat Cake: CHECK. Next item? Paris, France."
The newly wedded Mr. and Mrs. Clifton took off on their honeymoon on October 22, and Clifton has been sharing information about various legs of the journey on social media. Most of his tweets are Instagram photos, including this one called, "Honeymooners." In it, he and his wife pose on the Ponts Des Arts Love Locks Bridge, a location similar to where characters Liam and Hope fastened their lock in Puglia, Italy.
Clifton joined The Bold and the Beautiful in July 2010. Prior to joining B&B, Clifton appeared as One Life to Live's Schuyler Joplin and for four years as General Hospital's Dillon Quartermaine.
