DreamWorks Animation is releasing a new animated series called The Croods: Family Tree that features the voice talents of The Bold and the Beautiful's Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer).
The actor took to Instagram to announce his part in the family-friendly series, sharing, "So I'm SUPER EXCITED to announce this!!! It's been months in the making and so many recordings from @kellylkruger's [ex-Mackenzie Browning, The Young and the Restless; ex-Eva, B&B] walk-in closet, I'm beginning to think I LIVE IN there... It's such an AMAZINGLY TALENTED cast! These voiceover pros are sooo funny!! The writers, producers, animators and all the crew are wildly talented and [I] am just so blessed that they let me be a part of it!"
Brooks goes on to share that he'll be voicing the character of Guy, who was previously voiced by actor Ryan Reynolds in the 2013 film The Croods and its 2020 sequel, The Croods: A New Age.
"Thank you @vancityreynoldsfor being wayyy too busy Freeing Guy and drinking too much @aviationgin to be able to do this!!" Brooks jokes in his post, which also encourages fans to tune in to the new series because, "you'll really wanna watch it!!! It's a GREAT SHOW!!!"
