Move over, Beethoven, Benji, and Scooby-Doo, because Houdini is the new dog in town, and he'll be taking over in The Junkyard Dogs, an upcoming movie starring Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton, The Bold and the Beautiful).
According to Deadline, the family-friendly film will center around a precocious pup named Houdini, a master escape artist who must team up with his neighborhood puppy pals to prevent their block from being robbed by a duo of bumbling thieves. Richards is set to play Monica Sullivan, a single mother of two who's busy focusing on her upcoming wedding -- until it comes to her attention that both of her children and the family dog are devising a plan to stop the thieves before their neighborhood falls under siege.
Anyone who follows Richards on social media will know that the actress is a super dog lover, and she's also quite used to working with them: earlier this week, she shared that her cute canines snuggled with her while she studied her lines for B&B.
She also revealed that she was filming a whopping three episodes in one day, which could mean that she's squeezing in extra work at the CBS soap in order to film The Junkyard Dogs. In any case, fans should send the actress some love, because it sure sounds like she might be dog tired!
