The Bold and the Beautiful will continue airing through at least the 2023-2024 television season. CBS has announced a two-year renewal for the soap along with plans to air a very special episode later this month.

The Bold and the Beautiful will continue being bold and beautiful for at least the next two years. CBS announced today that the long-running soap has been renewed for seasons 36 and 37.

“For 35 years, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL has been a cornerstone of our #1 daytime lineup,” said Margot Wain, senior vice president, daytime programs, CBS Entertainment. “Congratulations to our talented cast and crew, as well as Bradley Bell, who have made this show a creative and ratings success, and thank you to B&B’s dedicated fans, whose passion for these characters and stories is unrivaled.”

“35 years ago, I would have never imagined what was in store,” said Bradley P. Bell, executive producer and head writer of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. “Since our premiere in 1987, it’s been a fantastic journey and incredible experience for all of us. We would not be here if not for the invaluable support of CBS and our millions of fans around the globe for their loyalty and support.”

The Bold and the Beautiful debuted March 23, 1987. 8,720 episodes later, the 30-minute soap is said to be the most watched soap opera in the world.

On the awards front, B&B has won the Outstanding Drama Series trophy three times at the Daytime Emmys, the wins coming consecutively from 2009 to 2011. The show has received eleven additional nominations in the category.

In addition to the two-year pickup, The Bold and the Beautiful announced that it will celebrate its next anniversary (albeit a day late due to a preemption) with a stand-alone episode that takes a look at the love life of Brooke Logan. The special episode will also see the return of two stars not seen on The Bold and the Beautiful in quite some time -- Jack Wagner (Nick Marone) and Winsor Harmon (Thorne Forrester).

It's been just over a decade since Wagner last appeared as Dominick "Nick" Marone - one of Brooke's ex-husbands. After flirtations with a relationship, Nick and Brooke finally tied the knot in 2006. Their marriage came to an end the following year. Nick was also married to Taylor Hayes and to Bridget Forrester, Brooke's daughter.

Harmon was last spotted on B&B in October 2016, but it's been more than a decade since the actor last appeared on a regular basis. In fact, Harmon isn't the most recent actor to portray Thorne - with General Hospital alum Ingo Rademacher tackling the role from 2017 through 2019. As for Thorne's relationship with Brooke? The pair was married in 2001. Their marriage was annulled that same year.

As for Brooke's other love interests and marriages, all but two of the men that comprise Brooke's 14 - yes fourteen -- marriages are already on the canvas. Brooke married Bill Spencer once, Eric Forrester twice - in 1991 and 2005 -- and Ridge seven times. Only Grant Chambers and Whipple Jones, III, are not currently on the canvas. Grant passed away in 1998 and Whip last appeared in 2011.
