As Days of our Lives continues to trim its roster, the NBC soap has made another round of casting cuts. Though she's been with the show only a few months, Soap Central has learned that Emmy winner Tamara Braun (Taylor Walker) has been let go.

Braun returned to Days of our Lives earlier this year, taking over the role of Taylor from actress Natalia Livingston. At the time, Livingston had been with DAYS only a short time. The abrupt casting decision was said to be a result of a decision to "take the character of Taylor in a new direction."

Braun previously appeared as Ava Vitali on Days of our Lives from February 2008 through August 2008. Her work on DAYS earned her an Outstanding Supporting Actress win at the 2009 Daytime Emmys.

In addition to her work on Days of our Lives, Braun also appeared as Reese Williams on ABC's All My Children and as General Hospital's Carly Corinthos.

Braun first aired on April 26. The actress taped her final scenes on July 11.

In addition to Braun, Days of our Lives has also cut loose Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane) and newcomer Bren Foster (Quinn). Last week, the NBC soap released Crystal Chappell (Carly Manning) and Louise Sorel (Vivian Alamain).
