The changes continue at Days of our Lives. A week after the show confirmed that it had cut loose four of its stars comes a casting call for a new character.
A casting call was recently put out for the role of "Drew," a 30-to-35-year-old well-built Caucasian male.
"Drew is the ideal man in every way," according to the description in the character breakdown. "From his incredible good looks, to his sincerity, integrity, and strength. He is the total package. He is smart and caring and has a way about him that puts anyone at ease. But behind his perfect facade may lie a pain that drives him to do anything to forget his past."
The show is seeking experienced actors for the role of Drew -- whose name could change by the time the character hits the airwaves. It will be a contract role.
Drew is said to be the first in a series of new characters that will pop up as new head writers Gary Tomlin and Christopher Whitesell start penning the show's stories.
