With Stephen Nichols returning as Patch and Mary Beth Evans back on contract as Kayla, it only makes sense that the on-screen pair's son, Joey Johnson, will be returning to Days of our Lives' Salem, as well. And it looks like the powers that be have found their match in acting newcomer James Lastovic.
Numerous outlets are reporting that the California native will be stepping into the now-teenaged role of Joey via a two-year contract. As fans might recall, when the casting notice for the role originally went out, it called for a "16-year-old gorgeous Caucasian male who struggles with resentment and abandonment issues."
