Fans were elated way back in June when Kassie DePaiva (Eve Donovan, Days of our Lives; ex-Blair Cramer, One Life to Live/General Hospital/All My Children) announced that she would be returning to Days of our Lives. Unfortunately, due to Days of our Lives' production schedule, that meant that the Emmy-nominated fan favorite would not be on-screen for months.
The wait is finally -- well, almost finally -- over. DePaiva will first air later this month and just days before Halloween.
I think my first air date is October 27th. So I've been waiting a long time to see #Eve back in action. Don't miss it @nbcdays #greatstuff

DePaiva was forced to step away from DAYS in July 2016 after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. In February 2017, DePaiva took to social media on World Cancer Day to share the news that her fans had been praying for.
"I'm grateful I can say I am cancer free," DePaiva shared on Twitter. "To all of you who battle cancer...fight on! Trust the journey!"
DePaiva assumed the role of Eve Donovan in June 2014. Her previous daytime credits include a lengthy, Emmy-nominated run as Blair Cramer on One Life to Live, as well as a five-year run as Chelsea Reardon on Guiding Light.
