The debut single "King of Hearts" from Days of our Lives star Jen Lilley (Theresa Donovan) is not only giving fans a little extra spring in their steps, it's also giving back to the community, with 100% of the song's proceeds going to charities that help orphans and children in foster care. And as if that's not good enough news, there's more: the musician/daytime star just released the music video that goes along with her single that's changing the world.
Fans who signed up to receive Lilley's newsletter were the first to get the details on the 1960s-inspired video, which shows the singer experiencing the downfall of a relationship.
Lilley will release a full-length album in February 2019. The still untitled album album, which will feature "King of Hearts" yet, tells a complete story about love and relationships (both good and bad), with each song being a chapter of that story.
"The truth in life is that every single person is in a relationship of some kind: we're in relation to our friends, to our parents, to our family, to our bosses, etc. Even if you isolate yourself, you still came from something, and you are thereby in a relationship," she explains. ""King of Hearts" explores a relationship built on empty promises, one that's actually non-committal, devoid of trust, and therefore destined to fall apart. The moral of the story is: it is far better to be on your own than in a relationship with a person who doesn't value you."

Meanwhile, for fans who just can't enough of Lilley this holiday season, be sure to check out her Hallmark Countdown to Christmas film Mingle All the Way, which premieres this Saturday, December 1, at 8PM ET/PT, and also stars former DAYS actor Brant Daugherty (ex-Brian).
The film follows Lilley as Molly, founder of Mingle All the Way, a new networking app designed to pair busy professionals together for upcoming events -- without long-term romance.
"Molly (Lilley) is determined to prove to her family that it is a success. Therefore, she joins the app, and meets another busy professional, Jeff (Daugherty)," says the film's official description. "When Molly and Jeff are matched, they are both horrified to realize they've already had not one, but two, disastrous previous encounters. Nevertheless, they agree to stay matched for all their respective upcoming holiday engagements. As the pair gets closer, perhaps their business arrangement might turn into something more this holiday season."
