Fans of daytime star Tyler Christopher (Stefan DiMera, Days of our Lives; ex-Nikolas Cassadine, General Hospital) may want to buckle up for the actor's next ride, because it looks like it's going to come with all kinds of thrills and chills.
The Illinois native took to Instagram to share that he has just finished up filming scenes for the upcoming film Max Winslow and the House of Secrets, a family-friendly thriller currently shooting in Arkansas.
"That's a wrap! Fine ending to this creepy scene in @maxwinslowmovie," Christopher shared along with a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the movie.
Max Winslow and the House of Secrets follows Atticus Virtue (Chad Michael Murray), a tech billionaire who owns a smart mansion controlled by a supercomputer. Atticus challenges five teenagers to outsmart his state-of-the-art technology, and if they do so, he will give them the house.
The film also stars Tanner Buchanan, Emery Kelly, Jade Chynoweth, Jason Genao, Anton Starkman, and Sydney Mikelle. It's being directed by Sean Olson, who also wrote and directed Christopher's 2018 sci-fi film, F.R.E.D.I..
The official Instagram handle for Max Winslow and the House of Secrets shared a sneak peek at the film's script along with the caption: "Inside these pages are the secrets to Virtue Manor. What do you think lies within Virtue Manor?"
Tyler's new role comes at a time when many DAYS fans are preparing for the actor's rumored exit from Salem. The fan-favorite actor took on the role of Stefan in December 2017 but temporarily departed the NBC soap opera due to undisclosed reasons, with GH star Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny Zacchara) stepping into the role. With DAYS' advanced shooting schedule, the on-screen switcheroo has yet to happen -- and rumor has it the swap may be permanent.
