Another day, another Days of our Lives exit. Just a week after Olivia Rose Keegan's (Claire Brady) departure and less than two weeks following the announced exit of Kyle Lowder (Rex Brady), Soap Central has learned that Lucas Adams (Tripp Dalton) will exit the long-running NBC series.
Adams, who plays the long-lost son of Steve Johnson and deceased mafia princess Ava Vitali, joined Days of our Lives in 2017. During his time with the soap, Adams has earned two Daytime Emmy nominations in the Outstanding Younger Actor category.
In addition to his work in daytime, Adams wrapped up work on a movie earlier this year.
"It's called Confessional, and I play a terrible human being in this movie," Adams told Soap Central with a laugh. "So, that was really nice to do. I'm not a good person. It's like the epitome of misogyny -- not a good person at all. But it was really fun getting to play this villainous-style character, and I thought it turned out really well on-screen. I was really happy about that.
Daytime Confidential, which first reported the news of Adams' exit, states that Adams' exit is story dictated.
