Days of our Lives' Dr. Wilhelm Rolf is a man of miracles, having brought a multitude of Salemites back from the dead. But he'll be pulling off a new miracle later this week: he'll be debuting a brand-new face!
According to Soap Opera Digest, actor Richard Wharton has replaced long-running portrayer William Utay in the role and will be making his debut this Friday, July 22.
There's no word yet on what tricks Dr. Rolf has up his sleeve this time around, but his appearances haven't disappointed since he showed up as Stefano DiMera's mad scientist back in 1997.
Wharton may seem familiar to soap fans, as he appeared on a few episodes of The Young and the Restless as a pawn broker in 2009 and as a character named Yogi Hari in 2013.
Some of the actor's other credits include Girlboss, The Politician, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Will & Grace, Nip/Tuck, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, Bones, and American Crime Story.
