It's not just soap towns that have their unusually large share of murders, mysteries, and mayhem. Apparently the entire state of Montana is one big pool of drama. Don't believe us?
In the upcoming third season of ABC's Big Sky, soap fans will see two familiar daytime faces: Zach Tinker (Sonny Kiriakis, Days of our Lives; ex-Fen Baldwin, The Young and the Restless) and Jensen Ackles (ex-Eric Brady, DAYS). And judging by the newly released trailer, the sand looks like it is about to run out of one of these fellas' hourglasses.
Tinker plays a character named Mark and things... get a bit dicey for him. Things also look a little cliffy, but that's not really a word.
Ackles, meanwhile, returns as a series regular after debuting as Beau Arlen in the season two finale. Arlen will be working on the investigation of a missing backpacker with Jenny Hoyt and Cassie Dewell, played by stars Katheryn Winnick and Kylie Bunbury. Reba McEntire, who proudly announced her love of soaps in an ABC Daytime promotion a bunch of years ago, joins the cast as Sunny Barnes, the leader of a family backcountry outfitter business who tends to have a suspicious number of connections to missing persons cases.
Watch the trailer below, dubbed Big Sky: Deadly Trails, and be sure to catch the new season of Big Sky on ABC beginning Wednesday, September 21.
