The cat is out of the bag: Days of our Lives star Sal Stowers has a new gig -- and she's been keeping the secret for quite some time.
Sal Stowers has joined the cast of Tyler Perry's Sistas. The actress hadn't told fans of her impending appearance on the BET series, so it was a surprise to everyone when she popped up in the episode titled "From the Blindside," which airs on November 29, 2023.

Stowers plays Penelope, and the character has at least a pair of ties to characters already on the canvas. Penelope is Jordan's (Sean Sagar) sister, and she is romantically linked to Gary (Chido Nwokocha).
Tyler Perry's Sistas premiered on BET on October 23, 2019. The series follows a group of single Black women as they navigate the modern challenges of life, including careers, friendships, romances, and social media.
New episodes of Tyler Perry's Sistas, now in its sixth season, drop Wednesdays at 9pm on BET and BET Her. Episodes from season three are also currently airing on both networks, and the entire catalog of past episodes is streaming on BET+.
Stowers is best known for her roles as Lani Price Grant on Days of our Lives and Cassandra Hubbard on the short-lived All My Children streaming reboot.
