Days of our Lives' Sloan Petersen will soon look a little different when Jessica Serfaty exits the role -- for now.
Starting next week, Natasha Hall will be stepping in to play Sloan for three episodes, according to Soap Opera Digest. Hall is known to TV audiences for parts on The Rookie, SEAL Team, S.W.A.T., The Kominsky Method, and Entourage. There's no word on why Serfaty needed a break.
On-screen, Sloan is involved in a heavy front-burner story, trying to keep the secret about baby Jude under wraps. She can't let Eric or anyone else learn she stole Nicole's newborn son and that she is raising him as her adopted child. She also needs Eric and Nicole to never learn she switched Nicole's baby's paternity tests to make it look like E.J. was the father.
Serfaty began playing Sloan in 2022 when she was introduced as one of Alex Kiriakis' one-night stands. She eventually became lawyer to half the town, even after her crazed brother tried to kill Paulina Price and her daughter Chanel Dupree.
Serfaty also made headlines in 2023 when she became engaged to Italian billionaire Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, the heir to the Ray-Ban sunglass fortune.
"The week before Leo asked for my hand, we had been laughing about one another's past engagement stories," Serfaty told People of the proposal. "Poking fun at all the do's and don'ts that come along with proposals. I was completely taken by surprise when he dropped to one knee. I remember seeing the joy in Leo's face when he couldn't hold it in any longer. He teared up at the end. (Sorry Leo, but I had too!) It was spontaneous, exciting and beautiful."
