Though it's far from a done deal, rumors are circulating that Nathan Parsons (Ethan Lovett) might be exiting General Hospital in the weeks ahead.
The Australian-born Parsons debuted as Ethan in January 2009, and hasn't had much in the way of major story since. Ironically, now that he's finally featured in a storyline that has fans buzzing, the actor's contract is up.
"The timing's not the best," Parsons admitted in an interview with TV Guide. "I guess we'll have to sit down and talk."
Parsons is the latest actor whose name has come up in exit talks. Parsons' on-screen brother, Jonathan Jackson (Lucky Spencer) confirmed that he's exiting the show in December due to the emotional and physical toll his work has taken. Rumors have also surfaced in recent weeks that Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio) might also be mulling an exit.
Per network policy, a GH rep had no comment on the rumors of Parsons' impending exit.
