The eagle has landed. And by that, we mean Steve Burton (ex-Jason Morgan) has officially returned to the set of General Hospital to begin work on the mystery (perhaps Tale of Two Jasons?) storyline that has the daytime world abuzz.
The show's official Instagram and Twitter accounts shared the first shots of the actor back in the studio on August 14, writing, "You guys aren't even ready for what's to come."

News of Burton's return broke back in June, and the actor has teased that his trip back to the ABC soap will be exciting -- and lengthy.
"There's going to be a lot of surprises, so stay tuned," he shares. "We're going to have a lot of fun!"
