One Life to Live's Todd Manning (Roger Howarth/Trevor St. John) and Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva) made their mark as one of soap opera's most entertaining pairs, and now the dysfunctional defunct couple is getting a second chance at life.
Author Kyra Davis has named the characters as inspiration for her new novel, Dangerous Alliance, which follows beautiful Bell and her plot to take down the Gable family for framing her mother for murder. In true soap opera style, Bell falls in love with the Gable patriarch's son, Lander -- leaving her forced to choose between matters of the heart and matters of revenge.
"I grew up with Todd and Blair, and I loved the idea of these two troublemakers joining forces and wreaking havoc on their enemies while engaging in their own passionate and tumultuous romance," the New York Times best-selling novelist told USA Today. "In many ways, my soap days have influenced all of my romance books."
