Fans of Brooklyn Nine-Nine were taken on a whirlwind adventure this past week when the series, which stars One Life to Live alum Melissa Fumero (ex-Adriana Cramer), was unexpectedly canceled by Fox -- and then just as unexpectedly picked up by NBC the following day.
Both Fumero and viewers were crushed on Thursday when Fox announced they were giving the police sitcom the ax. But spirits were lifted on Friday when NBC announced it would be picking up the show for a sixth season.
"Whoa what a day!" Fumero expressed on Twitter. "All my love and gratitude again Nine Niners."

Robert Greenblatt, chairman of NBC Entertainment, gave an explanation for NBC's decision in an official statement following the pick-up news.
"Ever since we sold this show to Fox I've regretted letting it get away, and it's time it came back to its rightful home," he says. "Mike Schur, Dan Goor and Andy Samberg grew up on NBC, and we're all thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest and best comedies in a long time will take its place in our comedy lineup. I speak for everyone at NBC: here's to Nine-Nine!"
