Half-hour encore episodes of the first 40 episodes of the online versions of both All My Children and One Life to Live began airing last week on the Oprah Winfrey Network, otherwise known as OWN. Now the network has released the ratings for those airings, and the numbers were posted by TVMediaInsights.com.
All My Children averaged 124,000 (151) viewers for each of the first airings of its episodes. Repeats didn't fare nearly as well, with a Wednesday repeat of the previous day's episode tallying just 24,000 viewers. In total, 1.364 million viewers tuned in for the four-day, two-hour blocks of All My Children episodes.
One Life to Live averaged 113,000 (155) viewers for each of the first airings of its episodes. As was the case with All My Children, repeats didn't pull in as many viewers. A Wednesday repeat of a previous episode had just 18,000 viewers. In total, 1.169 million viewers tuned in for the four-day, two-hour blocks of One Life to Live episodes.
On Fridays, OWN airs a special marathon of the week's episodes of AMC and OLTL. An average of 86 thousand viewers tuned in for the four-episode marathon of All My Children, and 73 thousand for One Life to Live.
During the previous week, TVMediaInsights reports that OWN averaged 84,800 viewers in the 12pm to 2pm timeslot, and 145,200 viewers in the 3pm to 4pm timeslot. All My Children and One Life to Live averaged 85.35 and 72.75, respectively.
Hulu does not release viewership numbers for programming on its network.
