Everything is coming up roses for CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless, which both posted week-to-week and year-to-year growth for the week ending on Friday, February 12.
Y&R managed to pull in over five million viewers with an additional 142,000 more than any other daytime drama for the week. The juicy story that drew in so many curious viewers: Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) realizing the true identity of Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) and finding the psychiatrist murdered when they went to confront her.
B&B also had a strong week, gaining 95,000 viewers for a total of 3,738,000. As for the storyline that won those numbers, it was the continuation of Quinn (Rena Sofer) leading an amnesiac Liam (Scott Clifton) into believing they're in a relationship together as "Adam" and "Eve."
General Hospital managed to draw in an additional 39,000 total viewers for the week, but the ABC soap lost viewers in all three key women's demographic categories. Meanwhile, Days of our Lives lost viewers for the week, coming in at 2,511,000 (down 56,000 from the week before). The NBC soap also lost viewers in all of the key demographics.
