Orlagh Cassidy debuted as District Attorney Doris Wolfe in May 1998 but it wasn't until January 2007, when Doris blackmailed Alan Spaulding into marriage, that she became a force to be reckoned with.
Orlagh's daytime career began in 1992 when she appeared on Another World. During her time at Guiding Light, Orlagh has guest starred in episodes of Sex and the City and Law and Order. Recently, she has worked on various audio books and commercials.
Orlagh graduated with a BFA at the State University of New York, Purchase, where she is still an active alumnus. With an extensive theater background, she loves studying Shakespeare and enjoys using her Irish and English dialects for projects, such as her role in the theater production of "The Field." Orrlagh is currently in the process of writing a play/memoir from a collection of her personal essays. In her free time, Cassidy enjoys working with charities, specifically ones that involve helping families, children, athletics or anything her friend Beth Chamberlin is involved with. Orlagh's hobbies also include reading, writing, watching movies, and attending the theater.
Orlagh currently resides in New York City with her husband Nico, sons Declan (3/16/98) and Roman (10/27/00).
