Amelia Heinle's sister, Jane, is currently battling cancer, and the actress is dedicated to raising funds to help her sister and others who are fighting the disease. She will host a charity fan event for BelieveBig.org on Sunday, December 14. The event will take place at Maggiano's Little Italy located at the Grove in Los Angeles, CA, from 3PM to 6PM. Money raised will be donated to BelieveBig.org in honor of Amelia's sister.
Heinle has portrayed Victoria Newman, daughter of Victor Newman and Nikki Reed Newman, on The Young and the Restless since 2005. Prior to that, she played Mia Saunders, a partner in Fusion cosmetics, on All My Children from 2001 until 2004.
Special guests at the December 14th event will include Heinle's husband, actor and producer Thad Luckinbill (ex-J.T. Hellstrom, Y&R). Tickets are available exclusively at DearMarchShop.com. A limited number of tickets will also be available for a VIP Meet and Greet with Amelia and Thad followed by special guest appearances for an autograph signing and silent auction.
This event isn't Heinle's only contribution to cancer charities. Her website houses an online shop and a percentage of its sales are donated to the American Cancer Society, also in honor of Heinle's sister.
She launched her website, the fashion and lifestyle focused Dear March, in September of 2014. The site features blogs from Heinle giving readers a closer look at her daily life. It also has content on topics including fashion, beauty, travel, entertainment, love, career, and parenting.
"As a full-time working mother of three, I'm constantly juggling my career, my family and my personal time. Dear March has been a dream of mine for a long time, and it has a little bit of something for everyone! I'm so excited to create a space where I can share all of my passions and connect with women of all ages," Heinle said.
The December 14th event is one of several charity projects Heinle will be a part of in the next several months. Believe Big is a non-profit charity whose vision is to assist cancer patients and their families discover their pathway to healing. The American Cancer Society is dedicated to helping people stay well and get well, find cures, and fight back against cancer.
