The Young and the Restless' police department better be on high alert, because one of their own will soon be involved in Major Crimes.
TV Line reports that Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher) has been cast for a multi-episode arc for the second half of the TNT drama's fourth season, which begins airing on Monday, November 2. He'll be playing the role of Bobby G. Monroe, a hotshot lawyer and anti-death penalty activist who is currently defending Slider (Garrett Coffey), a man awaiting trial for the murder of Alice Herrera.
Fans of Kevin can rest easy when it comes to whether or not it will affect his screen time in Genoa City. Rikaart is reportedly juggling both the TNT role and his role with the CBS soap, meaning Kevin will be appearing as usual.
Rikaart, who joined Y&R in 2003, starred in Major Crimes' sister series, The Closer, in 2005.
