Former The Young and the Restless star Eva Marcille (ex-Tyra Hamilton) is officially a mom of three! Her rep confirms to US Weekly that the actress welcomed a son named Maverick on Friday, September 27.
The new bundle of joy is Marcille's second child with husband Michael Sterling. The couple, who currently appear on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, welcomed their first child, son Michael Todd Sterling Jr., in April 2018. Marcille is also mom to five-year-old daughter Marley Rae from a previous relationship.
While she was pregnant with Maverick, Marcille appeared on Extra and gushed about how excited she and her family were for the baby's arrival.
"[Marley Rae] already is a good big sister. When she realized that her little brother was also going to be a big brother, she was stressed out. I was like, 'Sweetheart, you're the biggest,'" she shared, adding, "Life is good. I can say life is good."
Marcille joined the cast of Y&R as Devon's aunt in 2008, but the role was short lived, with the actress exiting Genoa City in 2009. Some of her post-soap credits include House of Payne and Born Again Virgin.
In related news, Marcille, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Nene Leakes, Porsha Williams, and Kenya Moore will be back in action on The Real Housewives of Atlanta when the show's 12th season begins on Bravo on Sunday, November 3.
