The Young and the Restless' Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) is back with her annual charity tea party, but this year's star-studded event will be an up-close-and-personal experience hosted online rather in person in Canada, as was done in pre-COVID years.
OpportuniTea Online, which benefits March of Dimes Canada, will be held live via the Internet on Sunday, February 27. The intimate, once-in-a-lifetime experience will give ticket holders the chance to take part in a Q&A with Linder, as well as several of her Y&R co-stars, including Christian Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin), Bryton James (Devon Hamilton), Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland), Brytni Sarpy (Elena Dawson), and Cait Fairbanks (Tessa Porter).
Linder's OpportuniTea Online will also feature an auction of unique Y&R-related items, which fans can bid on from the comfort of their own homes, as well as the option to purchase tickets to a VIP pre-show that will celebrate Linder's 40-year career on the CBS soap opera.
The event supports March of Dimes Canada's Conductive Education program, a cause near and dear to Linder, who has seen firsthand the life-changing impact March of Dimes Canada has on people living with disabilities. The actress has supported the organization's work since 2012 in the role of an ambassador.
