The Young and the Restless and Passions alum Justin Hartley has scored a touchdown. His new primetime series, Tracker, will makes it premiere in the coveted post-Super Bowl slot next February.
Tracker, which will air on CBS, tells the story of a lone-wolf survivalist named Colter Shaw (played by Hartley). Shaw travels the country in an RV as a "reward seeker," using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all sorts of mysteries.
Tracker is based on the best-selling novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver. When development of the series was first announced in 2021, it had been referred to as The Never Game. It's unclear why CBS opted for the name change.
In addition to starring in the drama series, Hartley also serves as executive producer.
Tracker is Hartley's first series to make it to the air following his successful six-season run as Kevin Pearson on NBC's This Is Us. He previously starred as Y&R's Adam from 2014 to 2016 and Passions' Fox from 2002 to 2006. His other credits include Mistresses, Smallville, and Revenge.
