When it comes to what's happening on The Young and the Restless, everyone has an opinion -- and our Two Scoops columnists are no different. Every week, our commentators share their thoughts on everything that's taking place in Genoa City... the good, the bad, and everything in between.

If you're looking to be a little nostalgic, we've archived our Two Scoops columns from 2004 through the current week. Now, you can easily flip back through the pages of history to see how storylines were received when they first played out. Has time softened a rocky reception?

Not everyone sees things the same way. That's why Ashley is headed to Paris for answers; Audra is in Nate's lap, working her magic; and Tucker has changed his mind for the 40th time. It might also explain Diane and Nikki having a coffee with no hair pulling. Find out what was to our columnist's liking -- and if you agree -- in this week's Two Scoops for The Young and the Restless.

Victor is back in his manipulation game, Tucker has his sights set on acquiring Daniel's game platform for his company, Phyllis has made an unauthorized pitch to Nate about Daniel's project, Devon has threatened a lawsuit against Lily and Jill, Sally hasn't told Nick that Jill canceled their meeting, and Jack and Diane have consummated their relationship. This was a week of letting go and saying goodbye on The Young and the Restless. After being rejected by Adam, Chelsea made moves to relocate the fashion division of Newman Media; Michael said goodbye to his job as district attorney; Phyllis contemplated saying farewell to Genoa City; Abby and Chance struggled with letting Devon take Dominic; Noah tried to move on from his feelings for Tessa; and Adam lost control of Newman Media after Victoria purchased the company for Newman Locke. It wasn't all goodbyes, though -- read on as we delve into all the happenings in Genoa City this week!

The loss of control and how to deal with it haunted several of our lovely ladies. As one lady considered her remaining options and chose the best one for her future happiness, another agreed to let her perceived enemy take charge in her desperation to regain her control. Will Mariah be the key to Abby's success in getting her heart's desire? Can Chelsea get back the upper hand in her marriage by using Sharon? Has Sally lost control over having a successful career in Genoa City since Summer learned about the sleeping dogs Sally had lying in Los Angeles? And a totally unexpected couple smooched it up on the couch! Hey, it's Two Scoops time!

Billy wants Amanda as his sounding board -- not Victoria or a therapist. Adam plans a new future for himself, Chelsea, and Connor. Phyllis plots to take Chance and the Grand Phoenix away from Abby. Kyle takes a different approach with Theo. With all the preemptions, not too much happened this week but February Sweeps are just around the corner. Let's have a peek at what things that happened during this short week and maybe deconstruct some of the couples.

Throughout Genoa City this week, actions had consequences, and the ripples were felt by a lot of people, including many who did nothing wrong. Sometimes a kiss isn't just a kiss, especially when it could tear families apart. Who knew a marriage renewal could lead to bouts of one-upmanship? Duplicity and jealousy and half-truths created enough ripples that you could make a basket out of the overlap if they were made of wicker! Let's dive in and try not to make too many waves in Two Scoops.
