Before Stephanie, Eric, Thorne and Darla leave, Stephanie reminds Brooke that the entire family is relying on her and urges her to vote against Ridge.
Despite the pressures of family, Brooke and Ridge manage to push the situation aside and passionately reunite with one another after his trip.
At the boutique, Deacon praises Jackie's work and although she is still saddened by Massimo's condition, being at the boutique and being with Deacon, lifts her spirits.
Sally employs Clarke and Gladys for a plan to have a special moonlight madness sale at the boutique.
At home, and while in bed, Brooke spoke to Ridge about the rift between him and Thorne. Brooke revealed that the rift bothered her a great deal. She told Ridge that the Forrester family would never be the same with a permanent rift between Thorne and Ridge. Brooke explained to Ridge that she understands his strong sense of family and values. Ridge surprised Brooke by telling her that he would do anything for her, including allowing Spectra Couture to be sold at the Jackie M Boutiques.
At home, Thorne told Darla the story of when he and Ridge played softball together. He explained that although Ridge's team won the championship, Ridge had made an error while playing Thorne's team. Thorne knew that Ridge made the error on purpose because Ridge was too good a player to have made the error that he did. Thorne became a hero on his own team after the game with Ridge's team. Thorne had loved Ridge for that.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to anyone, Sally, disguised as Massimo went to the Jackie M Boutique. She met Clark and Amber who all conspired to get the Spectra Couture line to be sold at the boutique. Clarke made an "unannounced" opening of the boutique which was located in Beverly Hills. The customers who came in to shop included the wealthy from Beverly Hills and celebrities. The Spectra Couture line was popular. Sally was pleased with the results. Sally, Amber and Clark all proved that the Spectra Couture line was good enough to be sold in even the most elite stores.
Back at home, Ridge telephoned Thorne to inform him that he would allow Spectra Couture to be sold at the Jackie M boutiques. Ridge admitted to Thorne that his motivation for reversing his decision about spectra Couture at the Jackie M boutiques was because he wanted things between them back to the way they used to be. Thorne expressed how happy he was and that he also wanted their relationship back to the way it was. Thorne agreed to meet Ridge at Forrester Creations in the morning to talk about one more condition of the Jackie M contract.
Ridge agrees to let Spectra share shelf space with Forrester as long as Thorne removes "by Thorne "Forrester" from the Spectra Couture label. Ridge insists that is causes brand confusion and Forrester hold the rights to use "Forrester" on clothing labels. Thorne refuses to give in to Ridge's demands. Eric tries to plead Thorne's case, but Ridge tells them that something has changed since the day Eric said Thorne was his only son. Eric insists that he loves Ridge and considers him his son. Stephanie asks her boys to direct their anger at her instead of each other. She hugs both of them tightly and tells them she's sorry for causing all of this.
Massimo's doctors discuss his treatment. It is experimental and very dangerous, but the doctors want to try it.
In Jackie's bedroom, Deacon gives Jackie an organizer. When she opens it, she sees that he has written in "dinner with Deacon" on every page. Deacon and Jackie eat breakfast and kiss, and Deacon tries to persuade Jackie to be late for her first day at work. Jackie insists that she can't make love with Deacon on Massimo's bed. Deacon tells her he will wait.
Sally and Clarke are in Nick's office trying to convince Nick that Spectra's designs are good when Nick gets a phone call. It is Massimo's doctor, wanting Nick to come to the hospital for Massimo's treatment. Nick quickly excuses himself. At the hospital, the doctors slide Massimo into a machine in an attempt to stimulate Massimo's brain.
