As the flashes from the paparazzi's cameras light up the night like a million fireflies, one question inevitably rises above the controlled ruckus that is the Red Carpet at the Daytime Emmy: "Who are you wearing?"
While the responses may not offer solutions to the pressing issues of everyday life, for one evening each year, it's a question that excites fans of some of the longest-running scripted programs in broadcast history. A big trend on this year's Red Carpet took a page from vintage Hollywood: black and white. With jewel tones all the rage, Melissa Archer picked a beautiful emerald green dress that complemented her red hair. Teresa Castillo showed that bright colors were optional, and that a white dress could wow, too.
