Larry Bryggman, who played the villainous Dr. John Dixon for 35 years, is not only an awarding-winning television actor, but also an accomplished stage actor. In his long career, Larry has worked with numerous stage companies such as the Manhattan Theater Club, Lincoln Center Theater, Manhattan Class Company, Second Stage, and the Second Repertory Company. Larry also toured with the late Mildred Dunnock and Albert Dekker in Death of a Salesman, with Elke Sommer in la Douce, and the late Paulette Goddard in The Man Who Came to Dinner. He has worked at the New York Shakespeare Festival and is currently a member of the Theater Company of Boston and has previously worked for the Long Wharf Theater in New Haven, the Hartford Stage Company, and the Pittsburgh Playhouse.
Larry is married to Tracey Hanley. The Bryggmans just recently celebrated the birth of a son, Ryan Hanley Bryggman (b. 2000) and a daughter, Riley Claire (b. 6/11/2003). The actor has a son, Jeffrey, and a daughter, Heidi from a previous marriage.
