Bonnie told Jessica, Ben, and Lisa that she'd made a move on Marshall Travers in order to help Paul get access to Marshall's room. Jessica told everyone that Bonnie had not needed to go to those extremes, since Jessica had already faxed an apology to the City Times for using her influence on the liquor control board on Isaac's behalf. Isaac, meanwhile, confronted Marshall in his hotel room, and Hal walked in on the confrontation.

Hal persuaded Isaac to leave, and Isaac immediately found Bonnie at Java and fired her. Bonnie told Isaac that she was distracting Marshall for Paul, and she was shocked to think that Isaac would think so badly of her. She said that love didn't seem to be enough for Isaac anymore. Bonnie admitted to Jessica that she'd kissed Marshall, and Jessica was visibly shaken at the thought of Bonnie kissing Marshall. Then Bonnie met Paul, and Paul told Bonnie that he had run into Brandy when he had been searching Marshall's room.

Hal asked Marshall about the three days he'd spent in Singapore before he went to Oakdale and asked him why James Stenbeck had sent him to Oakdale. Hal told Marshall that the people of Oakdale would not like to have Marshall elected just to let Stenbeck off after he was district attorney. Marshall discovered that his passport was missing, and, in spite of the fact that Hal told him that his passport had just appeared at the police station, Marshall threatened to press charges against Paul Stenbeck for stealing his passport.

As soon as Hal left Marshall's room, Marshall picked up his phone and made a call, saying, "Come to my suite right away. You're going on a manhunt." Brandy entered, and Marshall ordered her to find out what Paul knew about Marshall. He offered her lots of money and suggested that she go to bed with Paul.

Alison sulkily walked up to Susan and Emily, wearing her boarding school uniform, and said that she did not want to go to Wisconsin to an "academic convent." Susan replied that her only option was family court. Emily argued that it was drastic to send Alison away from the family and begged Susan not to do it. Alison listened to her mother and her sister quarrel once again then she burst in, accusing both of them of being against her.

Emily went out to Alison and told her that she might be able stay if she told Emily that she had stolen Rosanna's cell phone to help Aaron. Emily told Alison that Aaron would not give up a year of his life just to do a favor for Alison. Alison walked out, saying, "I guess it's time to find out."

Meanwhile Aaron and Lucy were waiting in the stable for Alison to go on a picnic with them. Lucy asked Aaron why he'd invited Alison, and he said that it was because Alison was lonely. Aaron and Lucy decided to go out riding on his bike instead of just waiting around for Alison. They reasoned that when Alison saw the picnic basket, she would know they were returning for her.

Molly and Mike were kissing in the country club pool when Bob Hughes walked up to tell Mike that a sizable anonymous contribution had been made to Memorial Hospital to build a burn unit, and he hired Mike to do the job. As Mike was about to leave with Bob to go over the plans, Mike told Bob that if Rosanna or anyone else had used their connections so that Mike would get the job, he would not take it. Molly, with her back to them, looked distinctly uneasy. Bob reassured Mike that he'd hired Mike because he thought Mike was the best man for the job.

After Mike left to get dressed, Bob told Molly that she should tell Mike that she was the anonymous donor. Nancy Hughes interrupted Molly, just as she was about to tell Mike the truth. Molly went to Carly's house to discuss her dilemma about telling Mike the truth.

Craig tried to persuade Carly to go to work for him at BRO as a designer. Craig told Carly that she was afraid to work for him because she didn't trust herself to be around Craig, stating, "You never have, and you never will." Carly ordered Craig out and slammed the door in his face. He pushed back in, but Carly told him that she would not go back on her contract with Lisa, and there wasn't enough money in the world to make her go to work for Craig.

Pretending to play with Parker, Craig walked out with Carly's sketchpad. Craig then went directly to Lisa. He showed the sketches to Lisa and told her that they were sketches Carly had made for him -- and Carly was working for him.

Paul and Bonnie teamed up to bug Marshall's room. At the Lakeview, Marshall hired Brandy to befriend and spy on Paul. Jessica confronted Marshall about messing with her family. She demanded that he set Isaac straight about having not slept with Bonnie, but their close proximity sent them into a kiss. At Java, Isaac and Ben suspected that Marshall might have set up the robbery to be Bonnie's hero.

Craig claimed that he had hired Carly to be his head designer, and Lisa was furious that Carly had reneged on their deal. Meanwhile, Carly urged Molly to take her relationship with Mike to the next level. She explained that Molly's secret would eventually get out, and she had to fight dirty to keep him. Lisa confronted Carly and announced that they were no longer business partners.

Mike asked Rosanna if she was behind his getting the construction job from the hospital. Rosanna denied any involvement but suggested that Molly might have pulled some strings. Later, Molly asked Mike if they were ever going to make love. Meanwhile, Craig dropped the bomb on Rosanna that he'd hired Carly to work for BRO.

In the park, Aaron did stunts on his bike to impress Lucy. They decided to return to meet Alison. Aaron lost control, and the bike crashed into a tree. Alison went to the barn to show off her new school uniform and found that Aaron and Lucy weren't there, but Will was. Will admitted that he was worried that Holden was mad at him. Alison had a heart-to-heart with Will and urged him to apologize. Aaron ran into the barn, carrying a hurt Lucy.

Mike and Molly continued to discuss their relationship. Mike felt like he'd caused pain to every woman he'd been with. He told Molly that from the moment he'd first seen her, he'd thought she could be "the one." However, he was cautious because he knew she was still in pain. She told him that she was moving on. Jake had taught her true love and happiness so that she would recognize it if she saw it again. Molly told Mike she'd found it in him.

Abigail took a sick little boy into the emergency room. She had been with him in the day care center where she interned when he'd suddenly become ill. Chris saw her and went to the rescue, taking care of the boy. Then, Dr. Susan Stuart took over, but she wanted to send the boy home. Chris wanted to admit him, and Susan finally agreed with him.

Aaron carried Lucy into the barn where Alison was. Even though her leg hurt, Lucy didn't want to go to the hospital because she didn't want her dad to know. Finally, Aaron convinced her, and Alison drove them to the hospital. Susan was there to help Lucy. She said she needed to get Lucy's father's approval first because she needed stitches.

In the meantime, Aaron was very worried about Lucy. Alison told Aaron about her boarding school. She asked Aaron to explain to her mother that Rosanna just wanted to get rid of her. Aaron was shocked that Alison hadn't told her mother about Rosanna. He agreed to help her because she'd kept her word to him, even when it had gotten her in trouble.

Craig told Rosanna that he'd offered Carly the job as head designer for BRO. She said she wouldn't let another man make a fool out of her with Carly. Craig said she would have the best revenge because Carly's designs would make Rosanna a lot of money. Rosanna didn't believe Craig. She said he couldn't forget Carly because she was "the one that got away."

Rosanna told Craig to withdraw the offer to Carly or she'd find someone else to run BRO. Craig said he didn't like ultimatums, but Rosanna said they would have no future. At that moment, Craig got a call from the hospital telling him that Lucy had been in an accident. He went to the hospital and was being very "nice" to Aaron. Later, he left a message for Holden, saying he needed to talk about Aaron.

Jack arrived at home and found Carly upset that Lisa had dissolved their professional agreement. They realized that Craig had told Lisa a "bogus story" and that Lisa had believed it. Jack told Carly to just forget it, but Carly wanted to talk to Lisa. She went to Java Underground, looking for Lisa, who wasn't there. Rosanna saw Carly and told her that the offer no longer stood for Carly to design for BRO.

Carly told Rosanna to give a message to Craig -- that she would never consider working for him. Lisa walked in, and Carly tried to explain, but Lisa didn't want to work with Carly anymore. Lisa said she'd help her with reimbursements but nothing else. When Carly returned home, Jack said they could move to New York City so she could start her own fashion house, but Carly didn't want to walk away from Oakdale. She said she wouldn't be defeated.

Mike carried Molly back into Lucinda's cottage after they'd taken a swim. All they were wearing were their towels. Molly asked Mike where they'd left their clothes. Mike said, "All over the place." Molly went to look for their clothes, and Mike noticed that the glass from the broken window had been cleaned up. Molly told Mike that their clothes had been taken away. They surmised that the cleaning lady had been there and cleaned up. Molly called Carly to rescue them.

At Jack's house, Carly was working on a sketch. Jack quietly walked up behind her and kissed her neck. Carly jumped and told Jack not to scare her like that. Jack told her that Craig already had her jumping through hoops. He said that Craig had thrown down a challenge, and she couldn't leave it alone. He added that the only person that would lose would be him. Carly rolled her eyes.

Carly tried to explain to Jack that she was trying to jumpstart her career, and she was not going to work for Craig. She added that her sister would not allow it anyway. Jack asked if she saw what Craig was doing. He told her that they were getting married in six weeks, and she had not worked on her wedding dress, the bridesmaid dresses, or the reception. She stopped him and asked if a woman went into the station and told him that she had a stalker -- Jack interrupted her and said that there was nothing he could do about it if the woman kept letting the stalker in the house.

Jack walked away, and Carly yelled, "Jack?" He told her to say hello to Craig, and he went upstairs to get dressed for the day. The phone rang, and Molly was calling with a problem of her own. She asked if Carly could deliver her some clothes, and Carly asked, "Bring you clothes where?" Molly said that they were at Lucinda's cottage. Carly asked, "We?"

Molly said, "Oh, yeah, could you bring a pair of Jack's pants and a shirt." Molly told her cousin that she would explain when she got there. Carly told Molly that when she'd told her to jump Mike's bones, she'd meant in a hotel room behind a locked door. Molly said to hurry, and they hung up.

Lucinda went to Simon and Katie's cottage to talk to Simon about Henry. She knocked and knocked, but no one answered. Then she heard music being played very loudly, so she went inside the cottage. Simon and Henry were there, working on the sound system. Lucinda looked around the cottage. Everything was fixed up nicely, and there was furniture in the place. Lucinda asked what was going on, and Simon told her that Henry was a genius. Lucinda asked, "Henry?"

Simon told Lucinda everything that Henry had done around the cottage to get everything ready for Katie's return. He told Lucinda that he had to go and get her from the hospital. He grabbed Henry by the shoulders and told Lucinda that Henry was a keeper. Simon left to get Katie. Lucinda asked Henry, "What am I going to do with you now?" Henry suggested that she let him go. Lucinda said, "No chance."

Lucy woke up in the living room of her father's hotel suite and saw Craig watching her. Lucy asked if he'd sat there all night, and Craig told her no. She told him that the painkiller that she had taken for her leg had really knocked her out. Craig got up, went over to her, and gave her a small box. He wished her a happy birthday. She remembered that it was her birthday. She thanked her father and opened the box. She took out a charm bracelet.

Craig told Lucy that there were seventeen charms on the bracelet, one for every year she had been alive. As she was looking at the charms and commenting on them, there was a knock at the door. Craig went to the door and opened it, and Aaron was standing there with flowers in his hand. He asked if Lucy was awake yet. When Lucy heard his voice, she said, "Aaron!"

Aaron walked past Craig and over to Lucy. Craig stepped outside in the hall and made a call to Holden. He asked Holden if they could talk. Holden said that he was at the farm. Holden warned Craig that he didn't want any surprises or games. Craig said that he had never been more serious in his whole life.

Back inside the hotel suite, Aaron gave Lucy her flowers and asked how her father had been the night before. She told him that he hadn't said anything, but she could tell that he had been worried. He saw the bracelet and asked where she'd gotten it. She told him that her father had given it to her for her birthday. He told her that when she was better, he had something special planned for her birthday. Lucy gave Aaron a hug.

Craig walked back in and asked what was going on, and Lucy said that Aaron had something special planned for her birthday. Craig said that was great, but Lucy needed her rest. Aaron said he had to go anyway to pick up his paycheck at the country club. Aaron told Lucy to get some rest, and he went to the door. Craig walked with him, and when they got to the door, Aaron thanked Craig. Craig asked for what, and Aaron said, "For being cool."

Craig told Aaron that he was welcome, and he closed the door. Craig walked back to his daughter and said that there was someplace that he needed to be, and he warned her not to dance in the apartment while he was gone. He kissed her on the forehead and left.

At the country club, Alison was still telling her mother that she did not want to go to the boarding school that Rosanna had offered to her. Susan got a page from the hospital, and when she left the table, Alison asked if Emily was going to do anything. Emily told Alison that she had tried, but their mother was set on Alison going to the school. Susan returned, told her daughters that she had an emergency at the hospital, and asked her daughters to stay and have dessert. She kissed a sulking Alison on the cheek and told her to have a piece of key lime pie for her.

After Susan was gone, Alison told Emily that she hated key lime pie. Emily said that she had to graduate from high school, and she reminded Alison that her friend Aaron even knew how important it was to have a high school education. Emily reminded her sister that she had to tell their mother the truth about what had happened with Rosanna's cell phone. Aaron walked in and heard the two talking. Alison told Emily that she had promised to keep a secret, and Emily said that she thought that was noble, but she wondered why Aaron wasn't stepping up to the plate.

Aaron walked over and told Emily that he wouldn't let Alison take the fall for him. He added that he would tell her whatever she needed to know. Aaron and Alison told Emily the whole story. Emily told Aaron that he would have to trust her. Aaron told her to do whatever she had to do to keep Alison from being sent away. Aaron gave Emily the phone then said that he had to go. Alison said she would walk him out.

As they were walking out, Alison thanked Aaron and kissed him on the cheek. Aaron told her that the fact that she'd stolen the phone had saved things with him and Lucy. She said, "Well, no good deed goes unpunished." Aaron told her to stop by and see Lucy because she was home alone on her birthday. After Aaron was gone, Emily walked up to Alison and told her that she had done a very unselfish thing. Emily added that she didn't know if the information would do anything to change their mother's ideas, but she would try. Emily told her little sister to leave Rosanna Cabot to her.

Craig walked into the barn at the Snyder farm. Holden said hello and asked about Lucy. Craig gave a report on how she was doing. Holden said he was glad that Lucy would be okay. Holden added that he would be setting down new rules with the bike. Craig said that he'd predicted a problem, and no one would listen. He added that when the hospital had called, he had been taken back to the night that his son had died.

Craig looked at Holden and said that he couldn't lose his little girl. Craig asked if Holden could understand that. Holden said that he could, but there was nothing they could do. He added that Lucy and Aaron wanted to see each other, and they would do that no matter what. Craig looked at Holden and said that he needed Holden's help. He asked Holden to help him put some distance between Holden's son and Craig's daughter.

Holden asked if Craig wanted him to send his son away. Craig said that he didn't want Aaron to go away for good -- maybe just for a semester somewhere. Emma walked in and said hello to Craig. Craig said hello and asked how Emma had been. He turned to Holden and asked him to think about what Craig has asked. Craig walked out of the barn.

Holden told his mother that Craig wanted him to send his son away. Holden said that he was not going to do it. Emma informed Holden that Lily knew about the accident. She told him that the police had called the house, and Lily had answered the phone. Holden got upset because Lily's blood pressure had been up, and she was supposed to be watching that.

Emma told Holden that she had been in touch with Julie and Caleb. They were getting things together, and they would like to spend some time with Aaron. Emma went on to suggest to Holden that after Lily had the baby and things settled down then they could see how it went. She told her son that it was the idea that counted, not where it was from. She told her son to think about it, and she left the barn.

Holden went on cleaning the bike, and later Aaron walked in and told his father that Emma had said Holden was looking for him. Aaron apologized for the accident. Holden said that they needed to have a talk. Aaron said that he wouldn't be taking Lucy on his bike anymore. Holden said, "I think you need to head back to Seattle."

Back at Jack's house, Paul and Bonnie stopped by to talk to Jack about Marshall Travers. They filled Jack in on what Marshall was planning, and they told him that they wanted to bug Marshall's hotel room. Jack told him that his hands were tied, and he couldn't be involved in what they wanted to do. Jack told them that there was someone who could help them.

Back at Simon and Katie's cottage, Simon took Katie home, and she was very excited and surprised at the way the cottage looked. Simon sat her down on the couch, and they started to talk about their future. Simon told Katie that he had a job. He informed his wife that he was going to be selling insurance. Katie said that she had not married an insurance salesman. She'd married a Simon.

There was a knock at the door, and Simon sent Katie upstairs to get into bed. When he opened the door, Paul and Bonnie were standing there. They asked how Katie was, and Simon said that she was upstairs, resting. They told Simon that they wouldn't stay long, but they had a business proposition for him. Bonnie said that they wanted him to do something illegal for them. Simon rolled his eyes.

Carly walked into Lucinda's cottage and caught Mike totally naked. She took a look at him, and as he was grabbing his towel, she said, "Hello, handsome." He apologized for not locking the door, and she said that it wasn't anything that she hadn't already seen. Molly walked in, and they gave her the whole explanation of what had happened to their clothes. As Molly was getting dressed, Carly told Mike what had happened between her, Craig, and Lisa. Molly walked back in and told her cousin that if Carly went to work for Craig, she would break both Carly's legs. Molly told her to focus on planning her wedding.

Carly looked at the clothes that Molly was wearing and told her that she couldn't wear all those clothes together. Molly left the room, and Mike gave Carly his advice. He reminded her that she was the designer, and they couldn't do it without her. He told her to lay the law down to Craig, and in the meantime she could get on with her life with Jack. She smiled at him and said that it was great to have him to talk to. Molly walked in, and Carly kissed her cousin goodbye and left Molly and Mike alone.

Later, Craig went back to his hotel suite and saw Alison there, visiting Lucy. Lucy gave her father the good news that Alison wouldn't be leaving. She told him that Aaron had fixed it so she could stay. Craig said that Aaron could just fix anything. There was a knock on the door, and when Craig answered it, Carly was standing there. He stepped into the hall with her, and she asked if Rosanna was holding court in there. Craig told her that Lucy had had an accident, but she was going to be okay.

Craig asked, "And you are here because?" Carly said that she was there because he'd ruined her chances with Lisa. He said that he'd ruined her chances to reinvent the muumuu. She smiled and said that she would be willing to work with him if he could clear it with Rosanna. Craig said, "Excuse me."

Carly said that she had been down that road before with Barbara, and she was not going to do it again. Craig said, "You and me?" She answered, "Working together." She added that if he crossed that line, she would be gone. As she walked away, Craig said, "Give my best to Jack."

Bonnie and Paul asked Simon to be a part of their plan to trap Marshall. Simon wasn't crazy about turning into the guy everyone ran to when they needed something illegal done. Katie said she and Simon needed a moment alone. She thought there wasn't much harm then told Bonnie and Paul that Simon would take the job. Simon relented and told Paul to go rent a room near Marshall so they could watch his activities.

Emily met Rosanna at the country club and asked her to take back her offer to pay for Alison's tuition at the boarding school. Rosanna apologized but said they "must really forge ahead with our agreement." Emily waved Rosanna's cell phone in her face and demanded that she call Susan and rescind her offer, or else she'd tell Lucy herself about all the calls she'd made to Seattle to get Aaron's ex to town for the dog and pony show. Rosanna called her bluff and said, "Well, if you're going to tell the child, tell her."

Emily upped the ante and told Rosanna that if Emily told Lucy all about the phone, Craig would most likely blame Rosanna and try to wash his hands clean of the whole situation, leaving Rosanna out in the cold. That looked like it got through to Rosanna, and she squirmed. Rosanna relented and called Susan at home to give her the bad news. She said the scholarship wouldn't be funded any longer. After Rosanna was finished with the call, Emily returned the phone and said, "Oh, and lunch was on you."

Back at Craig's suite, Alison visited the injured Lucy. Craig walked in, and Lucy wondered what he'd been up to. He said, "I've been getting a few of my ducks in a row." Susan stopped by to pick up her daughter. Craig shifted gears and said he'd been wanting to talk to Lucy about her future. Craig wanted to know about her plans for college. He said Lucy was headed into an upper class world and suggested Aaron might not fit.

"How is a guy who's hard-pressed to wear a belt going to feel wearing a tuxedo all night at a debutante party? How is Mr. Monosyllable going to make conversation at a college mixer?" Craig asked. Lucy wanted to cross that bridge when she got there. Lucy's eyes were opened, however, and she started to doubt if the class obstacles could be overcome.

At the Snyder ranch, Aaron was shocked at his father for suggesting that he return to Seattle for a while. "Why am I being busted?" Aaron asked. Holden said that Aaron's surrogate parents, Caleb and Julie, had been through counseling, and they were a lot happier. Aaron screamed, "Because I'm not there!" They shouted some more about the messes Holden had rescued Aaron from since the moment he'd arrived in town.

Aaron said that the crash on the bike the day before had just been an accident. Holden disagreed. "Yesterday...was about you proving to me that you're incapable of thinking about anyone but yourself," Holden said. Holden laid it on even thicker. He told Aaron that Lily had gone to the doctor after she'd found out about the accident, and her blood pressure was sky high. Holden said that Caleb and Julie would be there in the morning to pick Aaron up.

Brandy and Marshall met up at the Lakeview lounge and talked about how Brandy could seduce Paul and get information on what he knew about Marshall's relationship with Paul's father, James Stenbeck. Paul walked into the lounge, and Brandy improvised. She threw a glass of wine at Marshall's face, and they made it look like they were in the middle of a big argument. Marshall stormed off, and Paul went to Brandy's rescue. Paul gave her his cell phone number, and they agreed to meet later at a discreet location.

Lucinda's next task for Henry was to have him clear out Jake's old office. Henry wanted to know why he was her new pet project. Lucinda felt she owed Henry for all his help in Avanya. Lucinda got a call from Simon asking her for Henry's services. She let Simon have Henry.

Aaron stopped by to see Lucy and told her that Holden wanted him to return to Seattle -- the next day. Outside the suite, Craig smiled.
